Indiana Fever Struggle in Close Contest

Sky Rocket Past Fever

The Indiana Fever fell short in their road matchup against the Seattle Storm on Saturday, dropping the game 89-77. Despite a valiant effort, the Fever were unable to overcome the Storm's hot shooting and strong defense. The loss snaps a two-game winning streak for Indiana.

Caitlin Clark led the Fever with 22 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to match the Storm's firepower. Jewell Loyd erupted for a season-high 34 points, while Breanna Stewart added 21 points and 10 rebounds. The Storm shot an impressive 54.7% from the field, while the Fever struggled to find their rhythm, shooting just 38.5%.

The game was close throughout the first half, with the Fever trailing by just three points at the break. However, the Storm took control in the third quarter, outscoring Indiana 28-19. The Fever managed to cut the deficit to six points in the fourth quarter, but the Storm held on to secure the victory.

The Fever will look to bounce back when they host the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday at Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
