Baylor Soccer Readies For a Pair of Road Contests
Lady Bears travel to Omaha for two matches against Creighton and Nebraska

The Baylor soccer team hits the road for a pair of matches against Creighton and Nebraska this weekend. The Lady Bears will take on Creighton on Friday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. at Morrison Stadium in Omaha, Neb., before facing Nebraska on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 1 p.m. at the Nebraska Soccer Field in Lincoln, Neb.
Baylor (1-1-1) is coming off a 1-0 home win over Texas State on Sunday. The Lady Bears have yet to allow a goal this season, and goalkeeper Jennifer Wandt has recorded three shutouts.
Creighton (1-2-0) is coming off a 2-0 loss to South Dakota State on Thursday. The Bluejays are led by senior midfielder Makenna Mears, who has scored two goals this season.
Nebraska (0-2-1) is coming off a 2-1 loss to Iowa State on Sunday. The Cornhuskers are led by senior forward Jaycie Johnson, who has scored one goal this season.
The Lady Bears are looking to improve to 3-1-1 on the season with a pair of wins this weekend.
