Trippier Calls Time on England Career
Kieran Trippier has announced his retirement from international football, ending a seven-year career with the England national team. The 32-year-old defender made 37 appearances for England, scoring one goal.
Trippier was a key member of the England team that reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup, and he also played in the 2020 European Championship.
Carsley Prepares for First England Squad Announcement
As Trippier departs the international scene, Lee Carsley is set to announce his first England Under-21 squad on Thursday. Carsley took over as manager in September, succeeding Aidy Boothroyd.
